Within the Woods
"...so Sam rewrote his script to seven pages and raised somewhere around $1,600 and set out to shoot this shortened version in hopes of snagging potential investors for the longer film. Their plan was to create a thirty-minute 'senseless gore flick' with the help of special effects artist, Tom Sullivan.
The film was shot on Rob Tapert's family farm during the cold winter of 1978."

The Adventures of Mutilator
Hero of the Wastelands                                             Directed by Eric Fogel
"Animated in the crudest manner possible, Mutilator is a tour de force of constantly shifting perspectives, unnatural spacial relationships, and absurd violence. Combine thses with a classic, 80s, post-apocalyptic synthesizer soundtrack, theme song by Deth Boat and ridiculously terse dialogue — “My arm needs bandaging; your skin will suffice.” — and you have a masterpiece of schlocky toonage. Seriously, it’s worth it just for the scene in the second video where Mutilator appears to dance his way towards a nefarious enemy before plunging his hands through the fellow’s torso. His dance is the dance of death." ectoplasmosis!

Alive in Joburg
We don't want to be here, this place doesn't want us... we have nothing, nothing.
"In 1990, Johannesburg was home to a number of Extraterrestrial refugees.
[…] later on, the aliens began moving into other areas of the city, committing crimes in order to survive, and frequently clashing with the police.
The film goes on, playing as a documentary, complete with interviews and footage taken from handheld cameras, highlights the growing tension between the civilian population and the visitors." Wikipedia
directed by Neill Blomkamp

David Lynch: Lumière et compagnie
"Lumière and Company is a 1995 movie where more than 40 directors were invited to make a short film using the Lumière brothers' original cinématographe hand-cranked camera invented in the 1890s. Each short had to be less than 52 seconds long without synchronized sound and be made in fewer than three takes. All editing, of course, wa done in-camera. The final cut included works by Wim Wenders, Peter Greenaway, John Boorman, Merchant & Ivory, and many others. Here is David Lynch's contribution to the project." Boing Boing

Deep in the Indian ocean,
all scary and black,
lives an old octopus,
with a tree in it’s back. And from inside this tree,
all Piranhas appear,
who sing soothing songs,
and are kind and sincere. They’re not at all stupid,
Though they’re not very bright,
And they’re never quite wrong,
they’re never quite right. They’re never asleep,
And they’re never awake,
They all dress like weirdoes,
make no mistake...

A History of Evil
An animated Documentary/Mockumentary about Evil in western civilization from Ancient Greece to present day created by Ole-Magnus Saxegard.
"The film was intended to show what people have believed in and pointed to as evil throughout history. It was meant to get you to think about what evil really is. It is meant to show that when we get too obsessed with "evil" we might end up taking part in it ourselves.
One has to separate evil and human cruelty. Human cruelty is people not being nice to one another. Evil is something else, it is something we have created, a word and a concept for things that are not acceptable. It is a label for things that we do not understand and dont want to understand.
But is evil really ever a complete explanation for anything?
A lot of bad deeds has been done in the name of good. The people that did them ment good, are they evil?"

Still Life
"Nathan takes an unexpected detour through a small town on his road trip. The startling events that unfold around him defy logic or explanation. Fortunately, however, they don't defy the tenets of awesome filmmaking. Still Life is a brilliant exercise in paranormal storytelling. Rod Serling would be proud."
